STUDIOMIXES

There is no mixing. No technique. These are not auditions for a slot on an online radio station or a beg to be known as a DJ. I am just a nerd who is always making personal mixes so I can listen to the new music that I find...and I like sharing stuff that excites me.

The music is (for me at least) ‘Arbeitsmusik’ or ‘working music’. Chuggy, druggy, droney, grimey, balearic, disco, no wave, reggae, jungle, classical. Whatever. They are made being technically deficient in Garageband by dragging and dropping, cutting’n’shutting and exporting in under 5 minutes. If that.
Once made, they are put randomly on in my VLC player when I arrive at my studio. It truly is the music that soundtracks my day, the studio i’m in and the work zone I live in.
